Dr. Ansar Shah is an Assistant Professor at a prestigious university in Pakistan, renowned for his expertise in Computer Science. He holds a PhD from the IIC University of Technology in Cambodia and is a published research author with numerous acknowledgments to his name. Dr. Ansar is passionate about mentoring young university students, and he dedicates his time to helping them conduct seamless research projects. At Mehnat-Kaar, he provides invaluable advice to the team regarding technology and innovation, playing a critical role in ensuring that the organization’s projects meet the highest standards of excellence.

Muhammad Kashif Zia

Muhammad Kashif Zia is a skilled administrator with extensive experience in leading projects and teams. He has held administrative positions in several renowned organizations, including USAID. Kashif is known for his ability to efficiently complete projects while managing his team with a collaborative approach. At Mehnat-Kaar, he applies his administrative expertise to oversee and accomplish a range of humanitarian aid and development projects. Syed Tahir Hussain Naqvi

Syed Tahir Hussain Naqvi is a Humanitarian Coordination and Social Mobilization Specialist with decades of experience working with various agencies of the United Nations, NGOs, and INGOs in Pakistan. With his extensive experience as a Project Coordinator and Program Manager, he has contributed significantly to various Humanitarian Assistance Projects in the country. Apart from his professional work, Tahir is also a gifted poet with a talent for moving his audience with his words. He is known for his ability to deliver powerful speeches that leave a lasting impact on his listeners. With his unique blend of expertise and artistic expression; Tahir, as the Director of Humanitarian Affairs, has been a driving force for positive change at Mehnat-Kaar.
Dr.-Umair-Munir

Dr. Umair Munir

Dr. Umair Munir is a highly accomplished researcher with a PhD in linguistics from Universiti Sultan Zainal Abidin Malaysia. He is recognized for his convincing analytical views and in 2023 was honored with the Best Malaysian Research Paper Award in Social Sciences. In addition to his research prowess, Umair is an avid reader with a broad knowledge of literature, which fuels his intellectual curiosity. He is also a skilled debater with a natural talent for presenting complex ideas with clarity and precision. Currently, Umair is leading the Research and Innovation Department at Mehnat-Kaar, where he continues to contribute to the advancement of knowledge and the betterment of society through his work.
Zubair-Hashmi

Zubair Hashmi

Zubair Hashmi, the founder, and CEO of Mehnat-Kaar, was inspired to build his own business while working at engineering firms in Pakistan. He went on to create Alfa Concrete Strengtheners in 2007 and when forming Mehnat-Kaar in 2012, further expanded the scope to offer Humanitarian, Youth Empowerment, and Research and Innovation Services. Zubair has worked in a diverse range of roles including project management, consultancy, and technical advisory roles on various humanitarian projects including Shelter, WASH, and infrastructure projects. He worked with different NGOs, INGOs, and other humanitarian and government groups including Red Crescent Nepal, Oxfam, UNHCR, Saudi Development Fund, and the Japanese Government. He is a passionate and dedicated leader who takes great satisfaction in supporting his colleagues to progress in their lives. Zubair loves his work, coffee, and travel leading to him exploring half the world – mostly in Asia and Africa – perhaps in search of the perfect cup of coffee.
